The Original Aussie brunch in London

There’s something distinctive about Australian café culture.
It isn’t built around spectacle or special occasions. Instead, it’s woven into everyday life. Coffee is brewed properly, food is fresh and seasonal, and people gather without hurry. You meet friends before work, linger over brunch at the weekend, or stop in alone with a book and a good flat white.
It’s relaxed, generous and quietly social.
When Lantana opened in London, that was the feeling we wanted to share.
Not just a menu, but a way of spending time.
From the beginning, that also meant doing things thoughtfully. Working with producers we trust. Cooking with the seasons. Creating spaces that feel welcoming rather than exclusive. Building a business that looks after its people as much as its guests.
Nearly two decades on, we’re still founder-led and proudly independent, and those principles haven’t changed. Becoming a certified B Corp simply put structure around what had always mattered to us; making decisions that are better for our team, our suppliers and the wider community, not just the bottom line.
Over the years, brunch in London has evolved, but the heart of it remains the same. People are looking for places that feel comfortable and considered, where they can meet friends, work for an hour, bring the dog, or enjoy a quiet meal on their own.
Places they can return to often, and feel good about doing so.
Today, you’ll find us in Shoreditch, Fitzrovia and London Bridge, serving all-day brunch, good coffee and easy dinners from morning through evening. The atmosphere is warm, the welcome genuine, and the food made with care.
If you’re discovering us for the first time, we hope you’ll make Lantana part of your routine. And if you’ve been coming for years, it’s lovely to have you back.
There’s always a table waiting.
